Rule 01

The Ranking Formula

Every position on the leaderboard is determined by a deterministic mathematical formula.

Deterministic SQL Ordering

ORDER BY total_bid DESC, earliest_confirmed_bid ASC

Higher verified bid = higher rank. If two products tie with the exact same total bid, the earlier verified timestamp wins the tie-break.

Rule 02

You never pay the full bid twice. You only pay the incremental delta to climb.

Your lifetime verified bid grows to $250 immediately upon payment confirmation.

Rule 03

Cryptographically signed events ensure zero manipulation or client-side tampering.

Frontend success pages are strictly cosmetic and cannot update ranking state.

Only cryptographically validated Stripe webhooks confirm bids and trigger ranking recalculations.

Idempotent execution prevents duplicate transaction processing.

Rule 04

Clicks are tracked via secure /go/[id] redirects with 24-hour deduplication.

visitor_hash = sha256(ip + user_agent + salt + date)

No cookies, no fingerprinting across sites, and no IP addresses stored. Unique visitors are deduplicated daily and verified in realtime.
